Merry Christmas, 2016, and a Happy 2017 to All!

I would like to wish all E-Cat World readers a happy and peaceful Christmas season and a Happy New Year. I am always happy that people come to this site to learn, share and discuss interesting topics that are not widely covered elsewhere.

The E-Cat story is in many ways still an ongoing mystery which I think most readers here are trying to unravel together. It’s been almost six years since the story first went public, and here we are, still waiting for many things to be resolved. Personally, I’m as intrigued as ever, despite the numerous unanswered questions; so I plan to continue the coverage as usual and see how things progress.

Since the story broke, there’s often been the expectation that the next year will be the one where things will take off. Maybe 2017 will be the year, but I hesitate to make any predictions, just because it hasn’t happened yet! Andrea Rossi talks now about a public presentation of the QuarkX in 2017. I sincerely hope that this happens, but until there is a date set and invitations sent out, I am not going to get too excited about it. If it happens, it happens; if not, well it’s just another chapter in the story.

If people are bored and frustrated, I understand. Unfulfilled hopes and expectations can be draining. One of the proverbs of Solomon in the Bible is “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” I think there is a lot of truth there. It might be smart for people who are frustrated to take a break and try to forget about the E-Cat for a while; perhaps there will be a pleasant surprise down the road.

Meanwhile life outside of the E-Cat World goes on. There is important work to do in all kinds of arenas, and many problems that need dealing with regardless of how LENR fares. I also hope that in this holiday season people are able to enjoy time with family and friends doing things that are meaningful and fulfilling.

Thanks to all readers for all your contributions. My life is richer because of all the people I have associations with through this site, and I wish you all the very best.
