Energy in the News

Look over on the right side of the page, and you will see a panel with the header “Energy In the News”. Since this web site is focused on the solving of energy related problems, I thought it might be interesting to feature stories which, although not directly involving cold fusion/LENR technology, were related to energy issues in general. The first story I have featured deals with policy regarding alternative energy policy in the US Military.

Not in anyway wishing to get away from the great things that Cold Fusion may shortly bring to the World I’d like to point out again —
There are over 2 million unemployed in the U.K.
If the government took over 10+ empty factories and started to produce solar panels designed to completely replace conventional roofing materials and trained thousands of fitters then —
How long would it take to produce all of the daytime energy required.
How much Oil, Coal, and Gas would be saved.
How much emissions would be avoided.
How would the unemployed feel about working for the good of everybody.
It would be financed by the savings in imports of Fuel’s and the fact that the unemployed must be paid benefits in the first place.
Only Capitalism and the immoral running of the World to produce profits for the rich and powerful stop these things from happening.
The Internet can change all these things, if people start to care and react.
